Wilma and Wilbur take their goslings to the pond

Dear Friends of Canada Geese:

Thank you for visiting Love Canada Geese.

The nesting season is over and parents are raising their rapidly growing goslings all over the city. Most of the geese who lost their goslings to gang brood parents or who had unsuccessful nests as well as geese who did not nest this year have taken their second migration to their molting locations. We take this opportunity to update stories about some of our friends, introduce you to two of our new friends and bring you new stories from folks who love Canada geese.

STORIES FROM FRIENDS OF CANADA GEESE

1. The story of Brad by Carolina Waterfowl Rescue
   
2. Jeff Cleasby, Sales Manager of PM Bedroom Gallery generously provided us with his lovely photographs, some of which we have placed on Fred and Wilma's Page.
3. Charlotte France of Parker, Texas, shares her story of Sammy and Timmy and how her husband, Eddie saved Timmy's life. 
4. The city of Helena, Alabama, sets an important precedent for other communities by enacting a new law and a hefty fine for the littering of fishing lines, hooks and tackles.
   

Last but not least, we are compiling a List of Recommended Waterfowl Rescuers, Rehabilitators and Sanctuaries for sick or injured Canada geese. Please send us the name and contact information of rescuers, rehabilitators and sanctuaries that you've had good experiences with and we'll add it to the list.
